The resort is fully able to handle anything under a category 2 hurricane. If category 3 or higher you would be taken to shelter inland.
Thanks for the information guys! I don't mind a quick down pour or shower, on both of our June trips we've had a short shower every other day really but then the sun came back out and then the party is back to normal! :aktion033:
Last year it rain one day & people just continue drinking at the sexy pool bar & the sports bar. The party never stops.
What I thought was funny is when it started to rain it was no big deal and never stopped our good times but the nexxxt thing we see is a group of people out in the pool with the clear plastic rain parkas on with the words FUCK THE RAIN on them and we just laughed out loud! ( you might have had to be there lol) Who were those people and how did they whip out those FUCK THE RAIN ponchos in a moments notice? Man, that was so funny and I meant to ask about it but then somebody's wife walked by topless or something and the rain stopped and I forgot about it...until I read the above comments. By the way, that was too funny! ( but I guess you had to be there!)
Wanted to add before I forget that that's what's always so F'ing fun at Temptation and why we always come back. Every minute something funny is going on and really its hard to keep track of. Then you go to Patty-O's and then Nikkid at the sports pool and then crash hard and do it all again the next day! We read all the trip reports that people make trying to detail their experience at TTR and its funny and sort of exhausting to read but you know they leave out about 101 funny things that spontaneously go on all day and all night because our brains simply can't call it back without a reminder. (just Monday night drunken ramblings, move along, nothing to see here)
FUCK THE RAIN ponchos = embodys the true essence of Hellraisers' spirit. You should see the Hurricane ponchos
I keep depressing myself reading trip reports....I miss TTR, I cannot wait until October, mind saing that, looks like we avoided some pretty harsh weather by not visiting this June! I can't wait to start shopping for this trip, Morgan and I will hit the summer sales late August/early September, still undecided on my Halloween outfit....I have so many ideas, just don't know which one to go with!
