I think a wine and cheese paring sounds like a great idea. The only potential stumbling blocks would be keeping the cheese cool for those of us that have long flights and is it legal to bring in to Mexico?
Since we are not Premier members I wasnt sure if we could? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
I just visited the Cancun airport Customs site and it advises "as a rule of thumb" you may bring whatever you need during your visit....with the exception of food, fruits and products not company sealed. Some foods are allowed if you have a special diet or medical needs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So....as long as you don't get into the cheese on the way to the airport you should be good with Mexican customs. Now to solve the "keeping it cool" issue. I'm pretty sure that they would frown on dry ice......Wait, I just checked and you are allowed up to 5 pounds of the stuff. That ought to do it.
Wine tasting a great idea, keeping a lovely bottle from Europe in one piece on a 10 hr flight will be our challenge [emoji485] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You should be OK....just bubble wrap it and place in middle of suitcase. Most of us have brought bottles to TTR every trip for years. Last year a lot of us brought premium bottles of bourbon for HnH and I never heard of any mishaps
We will check with our contact to see what we can do and will keep everyone posted. Oct 28th ok with everyone??
