our personal favorite blocks of room are in 5000 either 55 or 56. We like sitting naked on balcony with a drink watching people heading in and inviting people up for drinks. great way to continue making friends. Don't really like the 3 story climb at 2 am, but room is big, lots of closet space with dressers
Thanks everyone. I think we will have a blast. I just wanted to make sure it was a clean property. While others may feel the room doesn't matter for us it does. I dont want to worry about bringing something funky home. Again very bad experience when I was younger. We hope to have lots of fun and meet awesome people.
It just struck me that some people who complain about a "dirty" room, are probably peeing in the pool. HAHAHAHA Our rooms have always been clean. Actually never have seen any mold in 5 trips. #6 in 2 weeks. We've never really thought of TTR being a resort for the pretentious.
I almost cancelled our first trip after reading some reviews. I thought the exact same thing. I was soooo glad we didn't cancel. I was pleasantly surprised at what we found there. I expected 70's style rooms, lousy food and depraved people but what we found was an older hotel that has been modernized and lovingly maintained with THE BEST atmosphere and staff on the planet! It is one of the oldest properties in the hotel zone but you really wouldn't know that from the look of things. They keep up the best they can. We've never found rooms dirty or unpleasant and I've never seen bugs in our 3 visits. Its not the Four Seasons but I guarantee you won't find a place that is as much fun. Any issues we had were corrected by staff asap. Food was good-great and trust me.... This place is addictive....beware ☺
