That is a pretty cool site, thanks for sharing. It is pretty amazing what some of the travel sites are charging for the dates we picked, many were more expensive that booking directly with the resort.
I can book with Alpharooms for $125/night per couple and including all taxes and service charges. I generally keep an eye on these things and that seems like as good as I am likely to get. What do you all think?
October 26th-November 3rd. I know I am booking way in advance but the only risk seems to be the $200 deposit. I don't believe that a significantly better deal will come along, but if it does - I will react accordingly. I like the fact that it is through Alpharoom who I have used in the past, seems reputable and Steve gets a referral fee (providing I use his link to Alpharooms). Seems like a win/win.
We just booked on Christmas day with some of the Boxing Day sales going on with the Canadian websites. We're going 14 nights (April 6-20) and for flight, transfers, hotel and taxes out of Toronto it came to $2730, so $195/night and that's including both our flights. We went with iTravel2000 because they give Petro Points, but it seems to be the same price with any other site that offers packages (expedia.ca/selloffvacations, etc.). When you pick your dates, it will show up more than it actually is. Hit continue and you'll see the real cost. It's about a $600 difference.
