We bought the "white" bracelet last time we were there and were promised so many things that were not true. Jonathan our sales rep is now at Desire full time and we can't reach him.
    No free shuttle
    No free week
and the staff is now being rude. To be fair, I won't post how much we paid for this worthless mebership, but I will say it would be enought to buy a new car. Yet this is how we are treated.

Can anyone here get us in touch with a sales manager for the "white bracelet" owners?

    Sean and Patia.

Afraid I can't help you with that, I too have a membership and know that the devil is in the details. I'd advise reading through the contract carefully to see exactly what is spelled out in it. Maybe even have a lawyer look at it to see what kind of a case you have. I know I don't have any free weeks nor a free shuttle myself.

    Good luck!

    Premier Member

Thank you to other premier members that have written us. It sounds like it may still be worth holding onto the membership. We do love TTR. Just having some issues with what we were told is all....

Oh, and we don't remember the color bracelet we were given once we bought the Premier Membership. Thought it was white.

people actually buy the time shares? seriously? I would seriously like to understand because I can't imagine a scenario where that makes financial sense.....but hell, maybe the jokes on me!!

There are pluses and minuses, if you travel lots it works out. If they were universally bad no one would buy them.

I agree totally with you. Never understood. We have been to Temptations 15 times, but still dont seem to be worth it to buy a timeshare. Just my opinion

You have to take the good with the bad--when we originally bought in 2002--great deal. Upgraded in 2005--better deal. Somwhere around there went bad, and took a while to get it all resolved--but now--BEST DEAL. When the wife and I can go and stay for a full week during March/April and pay less than what we spend in a weekend going out at home (not to fancy places either)--how can you go wrong? We recovered our initial investment in savings in less than 7 years, counting our $49 round trip flights out of Minneapolis for the first few years.

Believe me--it wasn't easy--I had to fight tooth and nail for everything we have--but now in the end, it was all worth it!!

Stay on them, don't back down--and eventually you may get somewhere!!

Initial investment plus AI fees, your lucky to get your money back.

I have been there ( booking through normal means)and paid less then a member, sure they got a better room, and drinks, but not worth it in my opinion.

What factors in for Canadians is the high airfare. We get a discount when booking hotel and flight together,, we lose that discount when booking flight only.,,, so higher airfare, initial $$ and AI fees = :(
