I'm not gonna lie, MTV contests during the day was sooooo fun, I hope they do something like that next year...
as I stated before, Mtv and MtvU are headed to PCB for spring break www.mtvu.com/on_mtvu/spring_break My buddy who works for them said if they do any filming in mexico, it will be acapulco, but thats IF they decide to. Doesn't matter, Cancun ALWAYS has HUGE live acts at night at the clubs, waiting in line to watch a show for MTV sucks anyways!!!
I only braved the fabulous show. I walked down to see the Akon one on my own as Rik was passed out in bed but the line was huge so just didnt eve bother :lol:
i agree mtv is over-hyped, just like all those travel agents that all tell you to go to the same club that night.. which ends up you having to wait in line 30 mins just to get in
Not to generalise but the americans dont seem to have grasped the fact that you dont ever have to wait in line in cancun! few dollars here or there
HAHAHA i sooooooo know what you mean! they always play either akon or fergie full blast out of their phones!! they've even spread to the aisles of tescos. innocently shopping away and all of a sudden you hear "nobody want to see us togeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeether...." Cancun is certainly not about MTV or the silly celebs they bring. but if MTV are there, i wont hinder nor help make the holiday better. I'LL make it what it is.
soooo true. a couple years ago at frogs the queue was sooooooo long going down the road and there was this tiny little queue over on the other side. me and gemma went to ask what is was for and they said if we paid $45 we could get in that way (as opposed to the normal queue at $40!!!!!!!) seriously, for the sake of approx £2.50 and no one would pay!?!?
Exactly claire...i find it mad but i hope they stay that way because if everyone did it then that wuld just be the normal queue and the other would be the tip queue
