Love the Hillary stuff  I am a liberal (not necessarily a democrat) from New York, and having her as a Senator has completely changed my opinion of her. I never cared for her before, but seeing what she has done as a senator has changed my mind. I am not sure how she comes across on the national level with people, but locally she is a politician with the connections and intelligence to get things done in a somewhat modest manner. I do realize that she took the senate job as a step to the White House, but she did a damn good job on her way. I do appreciate a good Hillary joke as much as the next guy though also.
Lambert - I have heard the same thing from several die-hard Republicans from New York. They didn't like her before, but since she's been a NY senator she's earned their respect. I think she's worked really, really hard to represent her constituents. One of these die hard NY republicans is head of a large NY-based company and is now one of her major campaign contributors (and he's still a Republican). She's got a lot of support from both sides I think, just like her hubby did. And I do think she could probably do something good about health care which is imho an absolutely critical issue in the US. Personally she's not my first choice for the democratic nomination even though I do think that's it's about frickin' time the US elected a woman for President!
Hillary's run for the Presidency announcement combined with a recent Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Darrel Hammond as Chris Mathews. Very Funny, enjoy!!! http://www.deletehillary.com/im_in.html
