I think that is correct. You must be a natural born citizen.

You could technically be born out of the USA (if, for example, your parents were military and assigned over seas) but you must be born a citizen.

 

Isn't Hawaii by being one of the 50 states a part of the USA? Aren't persons born in Hawaii US citizens and represented by senators and congresspersons in Washington DC?

I was just commenting on the statement in general that a person must bne born IN the US to be President.
