There are no hidden fees. There is a cost for wifi if you're not a member and of course services like spa or beauty parlor. There are some upgraded food choices at the restaurants that are extra but that's up to you. You should plan on tipping...we usually tip our maid $40 for a 10 night stay and we request 4 bottles of water, extra towels, and extra fridge beverages. The omelette lady and the bartenders get tips as well.
Been to TTR a few times and never came across a hidden fee or anything of the like that caught me by surprise or where I felt duped, especially after getting the inside scoop on this site. Also never paid for water, bottled or otherwise, unless you buy it at the gift store or off-resort as stated already. Gym access is free, but you'll get plenty of "cardio", even if you never set foot in the gym. :aktion031: Spa treatment is extra, but if you play your cards right, you'll find plenty a lending hand to help you with a rub down...for free!:aktion030: Room service...if you're in your room for more than 6-8 in a day for anything other than "cardio", rest, bathroom or changing to party some more, you're doing TTR wrong!:mnm: As far as money, we always bring a few hundred in cash to tip, do a cruise, hit a club in town or do an activity off-resort. But honestly, we have a hard time pulling ourselves away from the party at the resort. You'll have a blast...I'm certain it'll be one of the best trips you take!
