I don't remember any hidden fees, but then again I don't remember much lol. We went on a referral and we didn't even bother with continental breakfast or room service. We just did the buffet or went and got a paty-o's burger.

We met two couples who were told they had to put a $20 deposit down at check-in which would be returned when they attended the presentation. They didn't attend the presentation & were not refunded the $20.

That would be the timeshare desk and not the check-in desk it is something they do to make sure people show up for the presentation after showing up for the presentation they receive their $20 back and a gift it is totally optional you can go out

And those are the types of tactics that I loathe...you should NEVER have to give $$ just to show up and get it back. I'd make sure to note that in the review of the resort when leaving!

Its because in those promotions, there is a reward for showing up ,, IE,,, free Excursion, free spa treatment,, ect,, ''and'' you get your 20$ back,,, the 20 insures ( to a point) the rep you booked gets work to do he was scheduled for .

Don't agree either way just explaining.

if there was no ''reward/ bonus'' then no one would showe up
