    John,

As a single gent you really want to be laid back. You don't need to be pushy and you just need to let the people come to you. Some guys just don't get it and become obnoxious and have no respect. But respect is everything here. If you have respect for women, couples , etc then you'l' have a great time. But if you come on to strong then the nights can get a little lonely by the bar. Sure you'll have a great time but if you want to hook up...well might be better to let people coe to you. If you're an outgoing and sociable guy with a great smile, chances are you'll greet and meet a whole bunch of great people !!! Just let it flow !! Have a great time, and enjoy yourself !!

I will agree with those posters.

Befriend everyone. As a single girl there, I would be likelier to talk to you if you were with other people. I know this is opposite of the "stay away from a a group" mentality when you're picking up people at a bar back home. Outright flirting is acceptable here even when you're around others/taken people...so the more fun people you're around, the better chance you have of picking up the single girls that are also there in the group.

The guy that is all by himself and just coming up to you when you're alone seems a little creepy, and it's just not fun. Enjoy Temptations for the frat party atmosphere and take hooking up as a bonus. :xyxthumbs:
