Des, sorry you did not win. You deserved it! Personally, we think that they need to change the voting system for the contest. IMHO it should not be about how many votes the contestant can get from friends and family, most of which whom were not even there firsthand. Simply, the entertainment staff should chose the monthly winner. A second option would be to post a video of the live performance of each contestant. At least by doing such the votes would be based on more than just a few pics and a short bio.
Des/Shane As Steve quoted earlier, disappointing reply but nothing to get too upset about - we all know who the real February winner is!! Before closing this issue, a few comments from the e-mail you we're sent from TTR. Mario Cruz who wrote the reply was the guy who ran the contest that afternoon and he quotes that both Des and Christelle were tied. Wasn't the girl who tied the contest that week with Des from Montreal and had dark brown hair...and looked nothing like Christelle :? :? If anyone is a member of Facebook, keep an eye out for the 'Temptation Addiction' group run by Mario, he'll mentions Des and Christelle in a wall post - I assume he'll announce the winner shortly? Don't let this spoil any thoughts of not visiting TTR again...we all had a blast and have many great memories.
Well, Like the saying is, "Nobody Knows You and Nobody Gives A Shit". Well, after all this crap the last week. All We got to say is "It really doesn't matter and We don't give a shit". We will FOR SUR go back to TTR and party with all you Great CANCUNCARE lovers and Get back on that Booze Cruise with Steve and Janet. We can look back now and laugh at what happened.
