OK so if you are half as into scrapbooking as I am you want to scrap your Cancun photos. But then there is the issue that well, much of what is taken isnt exactly what you call "appropriate" for the kids to see OR even just normal company.

But the inappropriate parts are a BIG part of TTR. So you cant TRUELY tell the story of your trip without including the true vibe of the resort. :?

Whats a girl to do? :box: <---see my inner voices fighting? (it isnt appropriate. But I waaaaannnna scrap my trip. WAAAA!)

    What do YOU DO?
Last year I took a photo of the sign at the pool That says Public sex will have you evicted blah blah blah and I thought about making a page with that photo and saying somethings are best left unshared. But still that photo isnt appropriate for MY kids given their ages. Also it really doesnt preserve the memories of TTR (well what hasnt been washed away with liquor!) So I dont like that one as well as I did at first.

I did find a website called Blurb.com and you can make a blog book (a bound one like they do on Shutterfly) but I am not super techo saavy so digi scrapbooking isnt really my thing either but I thought maybe I could do one with my TR from here (tweeking it a bit) and make it a take out only for like minded people type of deal. Maybe make one for my friend who came also. Maybe that would get it out of my system. I wonder tho if they will print with partial nudity? I guess I will have to ask. If they do and have to proof it...what a different book for that proofer! LOL!

    Give me some ideas here!

People who dont scrapbook do you print off TTR photos? If so what do you do with them? When people want to see your trip photos are they seperated somehow?

We print some of the G rated photos, even though our daughter is 24 we still don't tell her everything Mom and Dad do!!

The non-G rated photo's I keep on my computer in a folder that requires administrative access, to protect them from snooping or any other accidental access. I share them with some people who were at TTR during the same time and who also share their pictures with us by downloading them on a CD and sending them to them by mail. I don't share any of the photos outside of that.

I don't print any of the topless pics. I'm usually pretty careful about what I even take pics of while I'm there. The raciest ones I took on our last trip are some shots of the guys from the side and back as they ran into the water to retrieve their trunks after one of the games. Funny, but pretty tame.
So that tells you what I scrapbook, and you're right, it does miss some of the "feeling" of Temptations.
BUT, I have two teenage boys at home, and one in college who's 20. If they ever came across topless photos of their mom, it could quite possibly make them sick, and seeing topless photos of the other ladies at Temp. could get them a bit excited, and I'm pretty sure none of the guests who are there topless, want to think of themselves as entertainment for 15 & 16 year old boys!!
I do have a few photos of myself and others in a locked folder on my computer, but some memories are best left in our minds.

I dont scrapbook but I do have a BBG wall above my bed and It has a part of the family T-shirt..wristbands( clubs and hotel) gucci chains and several photos from several different trips. and it seems to do the trick. I also have a shadow box on the other wall with sand a few pic;s a chain, a rose, wrist band from coco bongos. They both show I Have a great time while I am there and leave alot to the imagation.
And as far as the other pic;s go you have to remember the golden rule
when people aske to see them " WHAT HAPPENS IN CANCUN STAYS IN CANCUN"
That is why I take NO witnesses

i am in the process of completing a 12 page scrapbook of tonya's 40th birthday celebration from last december - when i get it completed i will forward you some pics of it.

we have three teenagers - but they have all been brought up around our friends and they know that we are a little bit over the top lol

but we never include pics of nudity (not because of our kids - but because of our parents LMAO)

the scrapbook covers each day and each event and does a good job of giving the spice of the atmosphere without revealing too much

Wow Rob! Is it a digital scrapbook or a handmade one? That is awesome that you are doing that for your wife! Not too many men would do that I think. I know G wouldnt. Well maybe a digital slideshow but not a scrapbook for sure.

Oh Rob dont say it isnt something guys should do! I think it is awesome and not gay at all. Too many men are worried about image. I would love to have a man who would share in my favorite hobby, but I am content with one who at least will make appropriate "noise" when I show him what I have done. LOL! At least he doesnt ignore me! Personally I think it is everyone in the family's job to preserve the memories otherwise it ends up too onesided!

I cant wait to see it! Does your wife scrapbook too then?
