Paleo diet and keto. After cutting wheat and grains out of my diet I lost 75 pounds! Weight lifting and mild cardio. Going keto now trying to get as lean as possible for summer and our trip to TTR in June.
We've had very good results with the Keto eating plans as well. Stephanie has done the most research on it, but it seems to be about low carb, higher fat, and moderate protein intake. It works, and it's not that hard. Even better if you can combine it with some consistent workout plan.

Lazy Keto for me and hitting the gym 4/5 days a week. Just need to be careful with drinking while on strict Keto.. (They say) Alcohol hits a lot faster and more intense. So I've been keeping my liver in check so no multiple 1st night curses for me while there.
