Our Conquest Vacation just got cancelled. Good possibility for our flights but no hotel as of yet. Any suggestions - all would be welcomed. We have spoken to Cancun Hotel Reservations and they aren't sure if a room can be guaranteed and are charging an arm and a leg for rooms or your first born...scheduled to be flying out the 17th, this Friday am. Thats terrible and was almost us as well. We were going to book through Conquest for thursday 4/16/09 and at last min changed to Noltitours for friday instead to save $200. Hopefully you can work something out and still come.
Managed to book another vacation....Itravel2000 customized a package for us...something they don't do. Had to book with different airlines and the resort through 2 different places. Still managing to get there at the same time on Friday. When we were talking to the resort, they said that they were overbooked and sending people to the Blue Bay Club. Our reservations are still there so we will see.
Val and Bernie Hey nice to see you too again. Glenn and I are conquest victims too......worked out that we are getting an extra day and paying 100.00 less. We have applied to visa a grievance for services not rendered and so we wait to see what happens. We may be okay cause Visa has not paid conquest any monies. I have heard that people on vacations at the itme that this all went down had to pay for their rooms before leaving as conquest did not pay for them. I hope everything works out for you too........we cross our fingers for you too.
