Help? Using T-Mobile cell service while at TTR?

    If you have a smart phone be sure to turn Mobile Network OFF!!! Smart Phones use data in the background to check weather, check emails, etc. even if only on briefly. And data is stupid expensive in Mexico. By turning the Mobile Network off it will shut off all data but will allow the phone functions, i.e. calls and texts to work. Incoming texts are free on T-Mobile. Also, I think all of T-Mobiles Android phones have Wi-Fi calling. When you turn it on and are hooked up to Wi-Fi, all calls are free! Thats how we call and text when we are there. Good Luck!

    If your phone is un locked you can but a Mexican Sim card for 15$

    35 cents a minute for long distance to Can/Usa

    Do you buy a mexican SIM and activate it? Where do you get the SIM?
