Hi TraceyUk, I have sent you a private message. How did you get the dogs to Spain, in the cabin or below? How did they cope with the heat? What papers did you need to enter Spain? Do you have the vets certificate and the Anexxe 2 certificate? Sorry so many questions...... We came over with Air Europa from Madrid but as to going into Madrid I dont know. I did read that they had to go down below now and so that worried me about them being sat on the tarmac at Cancun????
Maria we are still here.Our dogs are large and need to be in the hold but smaller dogs can travel in the cabin on air europa. Dogs need a certificate of health, european microchips all vacines up to date and rabies vacine must be administered after the microchip has been inserted. All info is on the Air europa website.YOu have to book them on same flight as you and through central reservations in spain. 0034 902 401 501.The day before you travel you MUST take pet to SAGARPA at the airport to make sure all paper work is in order and cages are up to standard.
