Hello all.. Me & My husband have been to Hedo 3 before but this will be our first time at Temptation Resort. Im wondering if anyone could tell me how the two are alike/different. I became very involved in the Hedo forums before our trip and meet many nice people. We are have an open lifestyle and are wondering how much "swinging" and nudity is seen/happens at Temptations. At at given time (despite advertisement otherwise) it is normal to see some slight play going on during day... and sometimes full on play at night at hedo. But it is still a comfortable atmosphere to be in. We are also wondering what is the average age group for people here? I see tons of younger college looking people on the website (it is also advertised like that at hedo3 but we didnt see much of that there lol). Even though we are a younger couple we actually prefer the company of an older crowd. Thanks so much for your answers in advance, sorry if anything I wrote was to blunt, but i figured id get straight to the point so i could get the answers i was looking for
Good attitude about the older crowd Temptation is a lot more subdued than Hedo3. My wife and I have been to both places. There are definitely swingers at Temptation but there are also lots of people that don't swing. Maybe even the majority? There is some limited nudity at the sexy pool and the sports pool (during naked volleyball), but it's associated with games activities. No walking around naked or sitting naked at the swim up bar, like at Hedo. Topless is pretty common at the sexy pool. Yes, there is some playing during the day but it's relatively rare and nothing like Hedo. My take is that Temptation attracts people that want to step out of their day to day comfort zone, dressing sexy, flirting, participating in games of a risque nature at the pool. The general atmosphere is playful but not hard core swinging. You'll find everything from singles to monogamous couples to people that swing and "play" with the drapes open or on the balcony. The beach, by the sexy pool, has been known to draw nighttime playing, at times. Some groups on Cancuncare, going at the same time, talk of marking their wristbands with x's. One to three x's, with three designating ""Swingers". But that leaves a lot of potential swingers that do not know about Cancuncare and the wristband thing. The age range is a good mix. My guess would be an average age of 35-45. Many of the younger people go the the Cancun bars during the evening. We have never witnessed people being shunned for their ages. It's always a very friendly, warm and open crowd. The college group are larger in numbers during spring break, as with other places. The majority ladies wear sexy outfits during the evening. The guys....well, are guys....what's a sexy outfit for guys? lol The evening party is at Paty'O's, a central outdoor courtyard bar, off the main lobby. There are some theme nights that take place at Nice Shoes, the indoor bar. Nice Shoes differs from Hedo3's disco in that the dance floor is a relatively small stage. It does not have a dedicated bar, but rather a window to the bar in the Sports Bar room. No problem getting drinks though. So, in summary, the odds of swinging at less than Hedo but definitely there. You'll have no trouble finding an older fun group of people to spend time with. The atmosphere at Temptations is sexy and high energy. Full of fun, friendly people. Hope that helps.

My wife turns 30 this year while we are in cancun and I'm 32. We have always hung out with an older crowd during the day and younger during the night, as we like to go out to the bars. We only sleep about 4-5 hours a day. Have always found the crowd to be really fun and have been able to get away with alot of "over the top" displays. It is what you make it honestly. If you want quiet you can find that, if you are looking for a good time you will find that, if you want a GREAT time you might find that, lol. Being open about your intentions without being pushy I think you will find what your looking for.
agree mike t and i have been going for several years and i have never seen the resort be as open as it was on this past trip when april showers danced butt ass naked unsolicited for a full fifteen minutes then i knew things were in fact different and not just in my head brewster is probably correct on the swinger non swinger count but with the atmosphere like it was when we were there a few weeks ago...................im sure that count went up in favor of those that swing fer damn sho just sayin rob
