Take the ferry to Isla Mujeras and eat at the restaurant on the beach where the fishing boats come in. I forget the name but it's awesome. Before that take her on a tour of the island. $17 an hour for the golf cart rental. You won't be disappointed.
2nd the idea for the lobster dinner on the beach. We did it a couple of years ago at sunset and really had a good time. It was very laid back, first rate service and surprisingly private. They did a seven course meal and took about three hours. We've wanted to do it again, but are afraid it would ruin the memory of the first time. It really was a special night. If the wind gets up, I think they have drop down shades or sheets??? Maybe someone else remembers.
We took the ferry from playa del Carmen over to Cozumel for a day trip. On the island we rented a scooter and went straight across the island and then around the southern tip back to the ferry. We were already in Playa Del Carmen so not sure how much time it would add to get there from Cancun. We stopped and swam in the ocean, lunch on the beach under a palapa, drank a beer in a beach hammock looking over towards Cuba and then had to decide to do the swim with the dolphins experience or not. Its a long day for sure but it was all 1 on 1 time and a day we talk about often still after 10 years of other trips around the globe. Your Bon Lasse there probably deserves your undivided attention on your anniversary and every other day can be with new sexy friends at TTR. Not sure if the above kind of day trip & scooters are available on nearby Isla Mujeres.
How much is a 3 night package? I wasnt aware you could do it for just 3 nights. Thanks for the idea! Excuse to stay in the room for the night then too i suppose haha!

Thanks! Cozumel is something we didnt do last trip but did speak about doing this time around so deffo worth a look! She deserves the world, each and every day and i'm such a romantic! So only the best will do for my Princess!
If you want to drive you will need your driving licence both parts and passport as well i think. Google Ultramar for the ferry times they use the port about a mile up the road from TTR
Another thought occurs to me as i hear yet more rain hammering the SE uk that the spa does couples treatments having had the hot stone massage i can recommend that
