This is one of the main thing that I have seen Elyse get better at over the course of the 4 trips. It went from like the 12 pairs, as you stated, to 4-5 pairs. Who even knows what the 12 consisted of to begin with, but it was defiantly overkill. I remember seeing all the shoes lined up in the room under the dresser and thinking wtf are you going to do with all these?! Even after getting better after many trips, our luggage overall hasn't changed. It still is a checked bag and a carry-on for each of us. However, I basically fit everything I need in my carry-on (minus bathroom supplies), but my checked bad it just a ton of goofy stuff. In thinking about stuff I have had in it the last two trips, the checked bag has like 6 water noodles, zip ties, and plastic foam board(for building a floating flip cup table), 4 drinking mugs, 2 bottles of jager, half a case of redbull, multiple monsters, a stainless steal shaker, gold super hero cape and suit, lots of pvc piping, netting, beads, a huge bag of plastic ball-pit balls, pink tutu, shoes, large condom box, bag cooler, v for vendetta mask, portable speaker setup, and red solo cups. I am sure their was even more random stuff, but I can't remember.
