Not to get the wrong idea....we've met several young single guys who were cool. No problems at all. Its usually when it's a large group is where Ive seen the problems. The maturity level seems a touch too low sometimes. HAHAHA
It's definitely not an issue with single guys. A couple of our best TTR friends are single guys. The issue is with people who aren't respectful. That tends to come out sometimes (thankfully not often) with groups of single guys thinking the place is a buffet of wives and significant others for the asking, which it definitely is not. Like the idiots in the pool with a football next to a bunch of adults having fun.... It was just not respectful when previously asked to please leave the ladies room. It may be adult spring break at TTR, but that doesn't mean all manners are lost. Steve mentioned that he believes some European travel agency has in the past promoted TTR as a bit of an "anything goes" sex resort. The clients are sadly mistaken when they show up. They also tend to be a little camera sneaky, and last fall security grabbed a camera phone from a young guy who was trying to discretely video the pool. They erased his pics. However, he came within a whisker of having it go in the ocean, as several of us had caught onto what was happening and were preparing to take action. You'll find even people you have not yet met will watch out for you at TTR. The other time single guys get a bad rap is when they decide to go for a weekend in Mexico (no doubt because the wife would NEVER be caught dead at TTR or topless) or host their bachelor party at TTR. That never works well either. TTR is about sexy, flirty, fun and just cutting loose. But it's also about respect. As for our single buddies, they even ask if it's OK to give Stephanie a hug! That's class.
Looking like May 2018 is our goal now. Just the best time for us funds wise. I should start a kickstarter for October '17. Lol
