OK… I just had a long conversation with some heavily involved folks at the resort. After which I decided I needed to write an apology for causing additional stress where there was already too much. When I first got my information I personally was frustrated, as many of you are, that Chinos was gone. But before posting it, I wanted to make sure. As I knew it was going to upset a lot of people. So I obtained a second source that confirmed that he was gone. I took what information I had, and added two and two together and came up with 5. And that is why I need to apologize. Fact 1: Chinos is no longer out at the pool leading the Entertainment crew. Fact 2: There is a lawsuit pending (although not by a Mexican national as previously reported) Given those two facts, a very plausible explanation is that Management received the lawsuit and fired Chinos. An equally plausible explanation is that Management received the lawsuit and Chinos finally said “Enough! I NEED A VACATION from these idiots.” First of all he’s not talking about all of us idiots, just those that like to play with the devil and then get upset that they get exactly what they were promised. If you think about it, when was the last time Chinos took a vacation? I’ve known him for over 13 years and have never known him to take a vacation. Sure there were times when he was not at the resort, but he was always either at another resort or on a promotional tour for the resort. For 13 years straight, at least that being the time I’ve know him, everyday he is out at the pool giving 100% to make our vacations the best they can be. OK, so he gets one day off a week. Big whoop! I dare say that very few of us, if any, have shown up for work 6 days a week for the last 13 years without a break. Actually I can guarantee it since you would not know Chinos unless you went on vacation to TTR. So bottom line is that Chinos is taking that long deserved break. Stepping away was his choice, not Management's. Bottom line is also that when he comes back off that break, TTR Management wants him to come back to TTR. Will he come back? Chinos has been doing this for over 30 years so it could go either way. He could feel it’s time for a change and do something different, or he could say it’s what he loves to do and be back. The choice is his. I know we would all love him to come back, and soon, but we have to respect whatever he decides to do because it’s his life. So I apologize to Chinos for adding additional stress to a situation that was already stressful enough for him to feel he needed to step away. Please go and enjoy your time away from the madding crowd. You deserve it. I apologize to TTR Management for my lousy addition and adding to their daily stress. And I apologize to all of you for not having all my facts completely straight before coming to you. When I found out I was wrong, I felt I owed it to everyone to try and put out the fire I unintentionally started. Jamie

I have been to TTR when Chinos is on vacation. I hope he decides to come back. His decision though..........we love him.
realy hope he comes back but dont blame him if he dont its got to be ruff doing the same thing day in and day out just glad I got to bs with him last week he did make my day I did talk with him on the morning of the 8th didnt notice any thing wrong
