I know it's off the subject of meeting people at TTR :brick: But i have my sister wanting to come to TTR the same time as me..:aktion061: Can be awkward...:icon_confused:
Here's one for you....been there a few days when a CCC couple we had talked to briefly on line arrives and zero's right in on us and we all start chatting. They as it turns out like to play A LOT...lol....us not so much we party hard and thats what we are there for. Any way as the night goes on we continue to chat and get around to the where are you from etc etc, after finding out we used to live in the same town and then it goes on to where we discover they are Sams aunts next door neighbours. Great people chatted all week but there is your small world syndrome.
We've been trying to get friends of ours to come WITH us for years. Only succeeded the one time with Sharon_and_Ivan, on this board, great people. All the rest of our friends think we're "weird, wanting to go to that swingers place again." They are all convinced. We just roll our eyes and laugh. Personally, we'd love to run into people we know. People are weird about stuff that "just doesn't make a difference to anyone," arent't they?
Here is one for you - we went in October 2012 with one of my husbands co-workers and his girlfrined. I asked my hubby if he was ok with me still being topless in front of him and he was fine with it. I spoke to the girlfrined for some time and she said yes she was going topless. When we arrived I found out she was very shy and didn't want to remove her top. Now me as soon as I get to TTR I want the clothes to come off - so I made sure hunny was fine with me removing my top and he was so off with the top. So we also told them about the nude cruse on the yacht and they were all for it but when the time came she would not remove anything - he did the nude cruse with us and she was not happy. Make a long story short - when we returned 1 week later they are no longer together - we would gladly take him back with us as he is a lot of fun and extreamly nice guy. Chris & Tracy
Our first trip in January, I met a guy who's dad used to know my dad when they both lived in Africa :/ Very small world indeed. Also that was the trip when we went with my sister and her bf...it wasn't as awkward as it could have been, but there was definitely an air of "if you see anything you think you shouldn't have...just pretend you didn't see it!"
