Get a recommendation from a friend who is happy with their's and is also someone that you think has a good cut and style.

Then make a consulation appt and go talk to the person and tell him/her what you are looking for. No cutting the first time...just like an interview.

People do that all the time where I get my hair done.

I've been with the same hair stylist for years, and I wouldn't switch.

    She's expensive, but worth it!

Derrick and I have been going to the same lady for a couple years. She is the ONLY person I have found that understands what a TRIM is. I hate telling someone I need a trim and end up walking out with an inch or more shorter hair.

i say go to a man styist. i wouldnt have a woman touch my hair. but i send gino recomendations all the time. people have stopped me in the street to ask me where i got my hair done and to say how nice it looked. hes the best. like janie's stylist. expensive but worth it.

as for why i stopped pole dancing. the instructor was a right bitch to me in the last few classes i attended. i had hurt (or so i thought) my knee and she didnt seem to care, but one night she spoke down to me like a child infront of the rest of the class and that was the last straw for me. told me she didnt want to hear about why i was having a bad couple of weeks. she said dont bring it in here with you. mean while we have to constantly sit and listen to her wretched love life. puhlease. i had had enough. so i stopped going. i didnt even pay for my last two classes. f*** that.i deserve a bit more respect than what she was giving me. so i am done wth her.

I was thinking before I read your last reply, Apple, that she's royally screwing herself over if she gets her own clients.

You answered that question for me! What an idiot...she should really cut the attitude if she wants her business to grow.
