Most constructions workers in the area I live in are Mexican. If you keep all of them out who will build the way?
Being Mexican is not the issue. The question is do they pay taxes on the money they make and are they in the US legally? The way I see it is, come her legit work hard and enjoy your life.
Guys, please realise that this and other controversial threads are posted in a dedicated section called 'free for all' where any subject is welcome. I know it's easy to confuse if you just click the recent posts button or are using mobile. But this section is specifically intended to keep these kind of threads from diluting the other forum sections, and make them easy to avoid if you are not interested in them.
Biculturalist - I appreciate that Americans who are anti-Trump threaten to leave the country and set their eyes north to Canada, like the world is their oyster and they can freely move wherever they want. But when another group of people are are actually escaping real turmoil and want to move to the USA then it becomes a sensitive issue. Such entitlement even in jest!

Drug testing welfare recipients promotes racism ? Thats like saying you think all drug users are blacks on welfare . Confused

See how hard being a politician is ,, people will take your own words , and turn them against you or interpret them differently . we had the same problem last election , no real qualified candidates running
