You might want to debate this with those who live in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and the other border states. They might have a different opinion about who the small-minded people are. Personally, I don't give a flyin fuck who lives and works here as long as they do it legally and are not here to engage in major crime activity. But just as someone has already said, if one has anything on their record, they can't cross the border. Without a "wall" of some kind this is impossible to monitor or control. It doesn't have to be a "Berlin" wall, or a great wall of China - it doesn't have to be a literal wall at all. No other country in the world has a wide-open border. But you just can't let any and all in without some kind of control. IMHO, anyone who labels another small-minded because they have an opposing viewpoint is calling the kettle black.

Are you sure? Id say there are very few countries that don't have a wide open border similar to that between US and Mexico.
Let's put it this way, my respect for the Mexican people and my love for my friends I have made during my many visits to the wonderful country in no way diminish my Desire to have enforceable immigration laws for my own country and to protect it's borders. Jamie
Something needs to be done to restrict the illegal immigration. Im from Houston area. There are neighborhoods here that are damn near nothing but illegals
I don't want to be political, that said there is a difference between Cancun, other tourist cites and the rest of Mexico. I do love the Mexico I know and its people.
