We have several friends going to TTR in april / May & would like to fly Vivaaerobus out of Austin but don't know much about the airline. Has anyone used them and if you did,how was it. Thanks for the help
i want to fly it - but as cheap as those flights are im figuring it may be a fleet of refurbished DC-3's rob/T
Try a Google search on them - might bring some user opinions up. Air Tran is small too and cheap!!), and they're one of the best ones going. I have AA miles and wanted to fly to Baltimore just after X-mas (going to Ocean City). #1) I couldn't use my miles for a flight from Rochester but I could buy one for $600. +per person. I went thru Air Tran. Flight non-stop from Roch. to Baltimore was $ 99. each way. W/ Ins. etc. came to $479 RT for both of us.
We flew vivaareobus back in Aug. & had 0 problems. It's exactly as the website states. No frills, no thrills just hop on & go. If you plan far enough in advance you can get a round trip for $100 bucks. I know it sounds crazy but it is what it is. As far as the make\model of the aircraft, I have no idea but for a $100 r\t I'd fly on a hang glider.
The only US airport they fly to\from is Austin, TX to\from Cancun & Monterey. From those 2 Mexican cities they fly to a # of other Mexican cities.

yes april showers we should - we are really planning on going to austin and flying out of austin but we will not book until we talk - check with tonya and you guys work it out and i will be happy with whatever you two come up we may just drive down that thursday and share a motel room with you guys - or if we have enough - can anyone say condo on 6th street? :shock: does that bring back memories or what - talk about a departure party - just sayin - :wink:
