Going alone is perfectly fine...I got split up from my bro last year and was alone...but a few hours later I was drinking with like a group of 8 from like 3 or 4 different countries.
Back in 2003 I was planning on travelling to Cancun alone. I still regret not doing it. Go by yourself alone! it won't be a problem.
I've been to Cancun by myself twice. I would just meet up with people from CancunCare when I went, and had no problems. It's actually fun going alone....
Hey there! I went 2009 alone and had a great time! Grand Oasis; black bracelet. Now I'm considering going again this year has to book this week if I go. I'm from Argentina (was the only argentinian in the hotel last time - I asked!:icon_wink and that was great, since being able to speak spanish natively and fluid english would get me along pretty much with everybody. Specially the bartenders, showmen and locals, which were very motivated to come and talk with me, give me free passes, extra drinks, VIPs, etc etc, just for "being one of them". :aktion025: And they are pretty awesome too, I remember most of them as very helpful people! If I decide to go, I'd be there by March 6th to 24 or 31 of March.
