The first time at Temptations, we met two couples that we have vacationed together at places other than Cancun. Where we live in Iowa is nothing to see really (unless you are a hunter) but we have a boat and condo at the Lake of the Ozarks so the past two summers we have gathered there. One couple lives in Denver and the other in Chicago. Last year we met in Chicago for the St. Patrick's day party and the greening Chicago River. That was fun. We have been invited to Denver on numerous occasions and plan to go soon. A few weeks ago at TTR, we met a couple from Minneapolis who we invited to come down to hunt if he can get an Iowa tag. Temptations is a wonderful way to meet fun, intelligent people. We have made lifetime friends in only the two times we have been there.
Re: ibiza Sue be careful it is on our bucket list. Have checked out the Pink Panther on line too!! Seriously yes we have. been to a nascar race this way just waiting on the return adventure. We don't know if we should offer a summer at the lake or a -40 celsius winter break :lol: :lol:
Re: Has any couples on this board ever swapped, did it work We've done this with a couple from Baltimore twice this year after meeting them last April at TTR. Had a ball each time! They'll be coming up here next July over the 4th as well as meeting us back at TTR this coming April. you guys don't live that far from us either. We're just east of Rochester, NY and I have a daughter that lives in Welland, Ont.
Suzie Ibiza sounds great, like Bonez we have also checked out the pink anther online, looks like a great place, we'll have to consider the "SWAP" more fully in-depth one of these days Bonez How are things going, where is your annual jaunt taking you this year? Woodman I think our trip this year will overlap, we are planning on being there from April 11-18, I believe I seen on the calendar that you will be there in that time frame, we'll have to buy a drink. Is that ferry still running in the summer from Rochester to Toronto?
We should all plan a Cancuncare meet in Niagara Falls sometime, anyone and everyone welcome, pick a date, pick a hotel, post a sticky and go from there.

Those are excellent prices, wow, what website is that, the Marriot is giving away more in vouchers than they are charging you for the room, and this is available on Saturday nights as well. One I always enjoy is the Best Western Cairn Croft, it has a bi-level internal courtyard, with a pool and 2 hot utbs. All the rooms in the courtyard (about 60 of them total on 2 levels) face into the courtyard and you can gather round and drink yourself silly. The rooms are quite reasonably priced as well. There is also an attached dance bar although it is known as the local "cougar" bar, but it does get quite packed and plays decent music.
