I'm curious about a bar I pass by often but haven't dared to go inside. It's called "Happy Bamba". I just love the name and it looks like it might be a cool place. Anyone been?
No idea, never heard of it. But with a name like that I doubt I would go in. Whereabouts is it located, maybe someone knows?
on Kabah? Saw some old articles (couple years old) on Novedades indicating it was the location of one of the city-wide "busts" by police on bars established by or associated with narcotics funding. Of course, my Spanish is horrible, but there was no question regarding the nature of the articles.
Not a place you want to go unless you´re a guy looking to pay a women to dance with you you. Expensive beer and expensive dances, and yes, just dances, in a not so desirable environment.
