Wish we would have taken some of this advice. As we both are setting in the TTR lobby waiting to leave and we both have terrible hangovers from a late night in the sports pool.
I firmly believe in hair of the dog...:ernaehrung005: However I found it helpful to drink frozen drinks throughout the day as well, as you are getting a decent amount of water in these drinks...
Ok so I'm all for the water and aspirin routine as that has always been a winner for me ... However Bill "the bartender" has informed me that ... taking a shot first thing in the day will set you "system" up and no hang over. I believe I will be asking him to put this to the TEST when we get there. I"ll let you know if his theory once tried!
Goody's aspirin powder packet and shot of vodka in a 32oz Powerade or Gatorade. The Cancun Elixir. You're welcome.
It's a tough one to swallow, but chug a whiskey coffee at breakfast..Holy fuck it starts your day off the right way after the initial kick to the face
A couple trips ago we partied with some college guys from Hell-if-I-Remember... One of them, Taylor, way over did it on their first day and paid the next. He came up with an approach we dubbed the "Taylor method." For the rest of their 10 days there, you did not see Taylor with an alcoholic beverage in hand without a water as well. He drank just as much (probably peed a bit more) and didn't get hung over the rest of the trip. The other thing that I do is hit Emergen-C at least 3 times a day while there. It fights off those germs that you are trapped with in the plane, and it seems to help with the hang-over as well.
Friend of mine says you have to have a shot of Tequila with breakfast at TTR, "just to warn your liver bout what kind of day it's gonna be."rangehat:
Have the bartender at breakfast make you an IV, it is the only thing that makes me feel better, tastes like neo citran but amazing results!!
Before we go to bed we take ib profin, drink a 5 hour energy drink for the b vitamins and drink a Gatorade for the electrolytes... We do the same when we wake up and seems to work for us
