A good hangover remedy: Advil 400mg-800mg (Ibuprofen) + An anti-nausea med like Gravol/Dramamine (Dimenhyrinate) + an antacid pill like Zantac (Ranitidine). Take the three meds before bed and you should be good to go! PS: for all those Tylenol takers out there... alcohol and tylenol mixed together is toxic for your liver :bash: !
Excedrine has Acetaminophen as well, just like Tylenol. This is the ingredient that harms the liver. A lot of people like it because the caffein kick it has. Instead, take the Motrin (ibuprofin) and a cup of coffee. Your liver will thank you. :claphappy: Look at it this way... you can drink more with less grief to the liver if you skip those two pain killers! :beerdrink:
AlkaSeltzer morning relief is amazing. We're stocking up on it NOW for our Oct trip hahahaha That, and B12 helps quite a bit! -Kasi
A hangover is your body's way of telling you you got up too early.... go back to bed. If you sleep though the hangover then you won't get one...
I always eat something and have something non alcholic to drink before going to bed. I have never work up with a hangover when I do this. Preventive measures are better than cures. If you give your body what it needs before you get a hangover you won't get one at all. No need for harmful drugs, every drug has a side effect. All that advil, asprin and ibuprofen can cause uclers in your stomach, not good if you plan to continue drinking. Just something to think about.
