    day of the dead is a community and family day at the cementry to visit family that have past some towns will have procession to honor the dead

    actually youre correct bake BUT over the years dia de las muertos has merged with the traditional halloween we celebrate .youre hotel wont have any celebration to speak of but if you get out of the hotel zone you can see some truly cool stuff!
