I was wondering what the gym facilities are like. Is it quite big and what sort of things they have in there, is there a decent free weights section ??

    Thanks

    Hey Franko77,

I only went the 1st day we were there in May, but it seemed okay, if a little crowded with all the machines. Scott went every morning, so I'll get him to post his thoughts later.

    Cheers,
    Janice

The weights and weight machines are pretty ordinary, but the view is great. Best AC at TTR, and very clean.

They have all you need to keep up during vacation. It was never crowded any time I was in there. I was usually alone. Treadmills, bicycles, squat rack, dumbells,& machines. I go in the morning if I am not to hungover.

Urgh me too - but I have to try and get in there at least 3 times a week to keep up to my running training (I'm doin the London Marathon next year...it was my sisters idea!!!!!) so I cant let it slip really. Its not fun with a hangover (did it last year) - but I'm guessing we'll feel good afterwards.....(maybe LOL)

Suz and I spent some time there in May. If I remember correctly - couple of older treadmills, couple of ellipticals, couple of bikes. An older multistation unit with pulldown, leg unit, etc. - not real good.

A press machine that had various angles from flat bench up to seated press, a pec deck, and a Smith machine - with maybe 300lbs of plates.
Dumbbells up to maybe 50 lbs.

Better than it used to be. Really not that bad for a place to try to workout when hungover.

    Thanks.
