If you go back and read all the posts about rowdy single males, you will notice one thing in common,,,,they mostly come from the UK/England

So they have painted themselves with this ''brush''

Again it is a cultural thing, North American don't tend to have Bachelor parties or Soccer parties @ resorts ,,, seems to be a UK thing..
If you were to take 40 American or Canadian 20 year old single males,, I,m sure they would out do any Brit party ,,(just kidding) .

 

I dont know if being an asshat is a cultural thing or not, but have been in the same setting with Americans and Canucks and never seen the same behavior. Behavior on par with soccer hooligans..
Also I cant figure out why a huge group of single guys would want to go to TTR. Its not exactly a target rich environment.

 

Right I'm out of this, we are a 40 something english couple that just want to come and party with you all, we are not soccer hooligans or anything of the like and can't apologise enough for the 20 something year olds that cause so much trouble and I for one I'm not here to defend them, we do not like them either, we have four teenagers and not one of them would act anything like what has been described,

My comments were not meant to disparage English folks at all, as my family is from Hartlepool in the North East.
The groups of hooligans is another story and I suspect its the resorts fault for marketing toward that sort of group.

 

And party we will,,,like ADULTS,,,,,, not lol

I have worked in higher education for more than a decade, and as the director of a student support program I have been a sponsor of undergraduate housing (dorms) for several years. I also lived in graduate and family housing with my children at a major university for 8 years, which was across the street from undergraduate housing and where the Greek houses were. I have seen 20ish American males behave extraordinarily obnoxious many, many times - and as a house sponsor have had to hear about heinously pathetic behavior, and follow up with consequences for the accused. I can only imagine those guys at TTR and it would be the same thing - they just don't belong there, and I don't want to be at their parties either!

When we were on the Boobs Cruise in January, we passed by another boat of 20-somethings and it was something like 80% young guys and 20% hot young chicks in bikinis (our 50/50 gender split is much better!), but they were looking at our boat and frothing at the mouth watching us party (many were naked by then). I can see why they want to come to our party, but they don't understand the maturity gap at all, they won't for another 15 years or so.

I honestly think the only way to deal with the problem is to have a 25 and older age limit - and let them party at the spring break college hangouts. I really wish the resort would simply enforce the age limit they already have ...
