thanks for that jamie , our paths will have to cross some time, and we can show you how real uk people like to party you are right, it was a bbc programme called watchdog, we remember it well, as we were there while they were filming in secret, imagine the surprise we had when we got home a few weeks later and saw some irish friends we made, on the pool bar doing bodyshots it was a rubbish programme, showed an old girl who got a cheap holiday by booking a flight and they choose the accomodation, and she complained when she got there, also showed the warm up in the pool in the morning and said they were all swingers,lol, but you are right thomas cook or thomson ( cant remember which one ) stopped selling ttr, and they do now, but the prices went up as not as much competition, thing is we were told that after the programme there was a huge increase in people trying to book, lol, thing is most of the lads who go on lads holidays range between 17-21 and it says on thomsons and thomas cooks website that you must be over 21 to go to ttr, so the holiday companys should check their ages and ttr should check their passports more rigorously,anyone found under, chuck them out. thats the rules.

 

We prefer to vacation without the kiddos...

 

I love the idea of singles being welcome. They add a certain spice to the atmosphere.

I use the term "cougar" loosely (since everyone knows cougars are loose :icon_wink, as it seems that all single women over 35 are deemed "cougars" whether we hunt young or old men or something in between. However, you won't find THIS particular cougar chasing after unruly boys. If I wanted to spend the time training something I'd get a dog...at least dogs don't steal the covers.

 

For those who might not know the term "Cougar"... here is an audio clip about the Gatineau Cougar... there may be some differences from other regions, but you will get the idea. And some of you may even recognize the Hinterland theme...

I avoided booking TTR in March and early April for the " youngin" spring break reason. I prefer ADULT spring breaks better. I have always came to TTR with friends but never as a couple. I love the mix of people I have met everytime I have been there, singles and couples. The key is being respectful no matter the age, gender or marital status.
