The hotels response is as follows: First of all thank you for your interest in our resort. Regarding your inquiry, we are working on heating the pools, they are no heated yet, but or maintenance department is working as Fast as possible to make the pool more confortable for you. "Thank you James and John for your interest: The real story is that there is a project in process in trying to implement a heating sistem for the sexy pool. It has been tested for some days in the last weeks to see if it works. We do not want to compromise the company by confirming it as part of our premises until it is 100% reliable works properly. We will keep you posted in the next weeks."

okay guys, here's the latest: I'm still here and the water temperature is definitely better than when I was here last New Year's. you can actually feel a hot water stream coming out from a tube right in front of Jose's swim-up bar. So yes, they might still be working on it but that is still a huge improvement from it was not heated at all. Today (and ever since I got here last week) the sexy pool has been packed with people.
