Wow...If the pictures are telling the whole story, this place looks fantastic. However, I can't find anything on that link that indicates that they'll be topless optional or that they'll have any kind of daytime or evening entertainment. Anyone know? I love the idea of a sensory deprivation and Moroccan/Arabic restaurant, though!

That's what we're thinking. Its a little premature to judge this place when it hasn't even changed over to the new "format". We have never been to Cancun so we cant really judge either place other then going off of others reviews, opinions and pictures. We definitely are going to try TTR out, but are really wanting to check out the GOV as well. The website i saw early had some great pics of GOV and made it look nicer then the TTR just judging from the pics. Obviously just by reading this forum i know you go to TTR for the people and partying, not so much the amenities. I'm thinking of booking half a week now at TTR and then waiting til Feb to book the rest of the week either at TTR or GOV based on feedback on the new format. Its a tough one as I'm picturing us having a great time at TTR and then having to leave to go GOV and not wanting to. LOL
If you look on the link under all the pictures, it lists all of the different "importances" of the hotel. The different pools are there saying that one of them is topless optional. They also list 6 bars. 3 inside and 3 outdoors. They categorize the rooms into 4 different styles with the quantities of each. But yes, they don't go into huge depth as to what how how crazy the entertainment will be. So far with the lounge seating in the "sports area" is pretty cool, the striped poles in the bar/nightclub are amazing(right Laura?), and I would have to say that the hotel "swinger" wristbands is a dead give away that they are setting this place up to seriously border on TTR/Desire risqué style vacation destination.

No one has actually admitted to selling timeshare in Cancun for about 15 years It's all Vacation Clubs, Executive Members, Privileged Guests etc etc.
