Just wanna thank everyone who responded to my incessant inquiries; I appreciate it. So I've narrowed it down to two options: RIU or Grand, and now have to decide. Gonna be going March 8th-15th '08 and want to have the craziest time possible: I know the Grand is the bigger party, but the RIU is so close to downtown, so my buddy and I are really stumped. Bottom line is we'll decide based on the feedback here. Whichever you guys think is best, I'm in! Thanks again...cheers! P.S. I'll quit the constant repetite postings after this one, promise
I don't think you'd go wrong with either choice. Ultimately it depends on what you find more appealing. Staying at the Grand will give you access to the Oasis beach area and pools and the day time action is there. If you're looking to stay at a newer hotel with nice amenities and close to the night club action the Riu is a very good choice...
YEah I agree, can't go wrong really with those choices. BUT, if you are looking for a crazy time, stayinat the Gran Oasis does allow you all round access to the Oasis Cancun during Spring BReak. So that is where the party will be, so you may wanna think of that...

Thanks for all the feedback, made our decision a hell of a lot easier. Grand Oasis it is; will be spending the next 7 months exercising my liver, who's gonna be in Kelowna BC and wants to join in on the practice?!
