One more sleep here. Printed boarding passes. Ready to get there already. Hard to imagine they are already shutting down after a few months. The place is booked and doing well don't know why they didn't run with it. Oh well, better to be in Cancun than at work!
I wondered if this was coming, the reviews were not all that good. Wonder what Sexy Sarah will be doing? Hope the best for her, she is great and missed at TTR
Sad to say but we bailed! GOV likely would have been fine in July........we're past TTR........so headed to Desire Pearl!
We were sad to hear the GOV sold, we really liked it and would have gone back.. however...We spent 14 days at TTR and then to the GOV for 5 days it was perfect. I don't see any point of writing a trip report because of the sale. The GOV is a perfect place to go if you want to chill... Alternative to TTR No... a different option yes... but you cannot compare the two. TTR you party your ass off... the GOV is recoup time. We always go to TTR and when we get home we go through huge withdrawal, physical and mental, our time spent at the Gov was a great time to relax catch up on sleep and watch the world go by. We are well rested and ready to face real life again. I will mention the waitress Laura.. she supplied our drinks all day always a wonderful smile. I really think tipping went along way at the Gov.. as it does at TTR.
LOL great meeting you two also... must say though your avatar doesn't do you two justice. Here's to our paths crossing again hopefully in the very near future.(Like at TTR) Cheers
