Nobody is forcing to anyone get a job that pays minimum wage. If you don't like the pay, go find another job...that's the beauty of a free capitalistic world.
most people working for the minimum are either young kids or those people who simply lack the experience for better work!
i agree. sidenote, the minimum wage has been raised in many states recently. http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm Most states have a minimum wage in excess of $6.00/hr.

it goes by state the minimum wage, in ct its $7.65 my 17 year old brother makes that working at a law firm, but the $5.15 is the federal one i think the absolute lowest it can be anywhere in the states, it can be so low b/c the cost of living is so much less in certain places
fisrt - yeah ikes does rock, i love it! second - CC london?? when where?? let me know third - im on a little more than minimum wage but i do so many hours i earn more than the managers on their salary! and its not because im young or lack the ability to to a higher paid job (jason grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ) its because i enjoy it... i had a job as an insurance fraud investigator but it was so bad and so horrible the money was not worth the day after day torture!!!! you all know that feeling where you wake up and think ""uuuurgghh i have to go to work!" i never get that. ever! its good
