Robbie: "Thanks" for the news, haha :)

No real answer yet from Dell.

So basically they KNOW about the issue, yet shut their mouths and point at the warranty?

To sum it up: They are selling faulty laptops.

This will be the first and only time Ill EVER get anything from Dell, ever.

The motherboard is almost half the price of the laptop, lol.

Wish someone would burn them down. Ugh!

Theres a place in Calle Kohunlich, almost corner with La Luna, you should give it a try. They fix computers and also sell parts. I believe they close at 5 or 6 pm and its not open on mondays. They should at least be able to give you more info and point you in the right direction.

I don't fix em. Just sell them used or for parts. Best Buy always has a decent low end laptop for one penny UNDER $300. Plus tax of course and you need a mule to bring it to you. But that is easy enough.

4GB Ram, exp to 8GB, 320 GB Hard Drive, 1.65 Ghz processor
    HP brand.

    HP - 15.6" Laptop - 4GB Memory - 320GB Hard Drive - Charcoal Gray - 2000-428dx

May bring a new Toshiba back in Sept and sell my good condition one.
