Good news for AT+T wireless customers: Free calls/texts while in Mexico plus 1GB data

LOL my daughter got one of those messages, too, and she isn't even going!

 

It wasn't applied automatically for me, but I was able to add it to my ipad account easily...great find Cheers! Thanks

Sprint offers this same thing. Just a heads up for those who use Sprint. You do have to make sure you call and activate it though.

 

Just activated it today. Unlimited calls & text and 1 GB of data per phone line. Sorry Mexico, no more phone card purchases from us !!

 

Verizon has a $2.00 a day charge, once you activate it, and you can use your plan in Mexico and Canada just like in the USA. Calls to and from the USA from Mexico, and any calls in Mexico to Mexico phones are no additional charge. Same for texts, and you have access to your data plan as if you were in the USA. Only $2.00 a day. If you don't use the phone, no charge. You can activate on line or call.

 

For Canadians , rogers,, the price is 10$ @ day,, your entire package transfers to Mexico ,, you need to activate it before you leave.
