Just got off the phone with Blue Tulum - all is well. They are just knocking 1 bar down and moving it to another area, that is all. Still going to be a great place!

Don't always believe the media!!

The media--Reforma--is reporting here http://www.reforma.com/estados/articulo/494/987523/ that they demolished 52 rooms, 2 gazebos, a temazcal and more. This is the Azul Blue. Is it the same hotel?

    Hey Yessica,

I am no expert on British cuisine, but I think Golden Syrup is more or less sugar cane syrup. I have seen raw sugar cane in the Walmart produce depts. I would think that you could cook some of this stuff down into the syrup. And I am thinking that Karo Syrup that my mom used to use, may be a reduction of sugar cane and may work just fine if you can find it.

    Good luck.
