Agree on the supply and demand... Out of curiousity we checked the price of our trip (booked it mid-Feb) and to do it now it for the same date it would be over double the price. April 11th-18th...

We've only been to GP one time. We are now returning to TTR for our 3rd time in June. We decided to go to GP because it was advertised as a "topless optional" resort. We had just been to Moon Palace the yr before for our honeymoon & while it is huge & beautiful, was a family resort & we knew that was not what we wanted anymore for our vacations away together. So we picked GP. When we got there & looked around not 1 woman had their top off. My hubby is like "screw it" it says its topless optional so u can take your top off. I was very hesitant but finally did & was VERY self conscience(sp) & I am not usually that way & boy was I getting the looks(& I dont mean the good kind) so there is a hot tub there made out of rocks that looks out over the ocean that when ure in it u cant be seen as much by people at the pool so we decided to go sit down there. Another couple ended up coming down after awhile & got in & once she saw I had my top off she took hers off as well. They became the people we hung out with the whole week. The party atmosphere u get at TTR definately wasnt there as well, but we did meet several fun couples & had some fun drunken nts at the tiki bar at nt including body shots on the bar. We had a good time (as we try to no matter what anywhere we go) but once we found TTR we knew we'd found our home. Absolutely the most non-judgemental,fun people who love to party & dont give a shit. I will say though that the view from the rooms there(GP) are second to none. we had a top floor room facing the ocean & it was the most incredible non obstructed ocean view!! We slept with our sliding doors open every night & fell asleep listening to the waves.
