This is kind of a sexy pool, tops optional party, "field of dreams" moment. Doesn't matter what resort it is, "if they build it, we will come!!!!"

We were at GP sept '15 for our honeymoon. There is the tiki bar by the pool which is where the late night people hang out. The bartender Fonzie love getting people on the bar top for body shots. They also have the 60's bar inside the resort with a DJ or kramitokie.
The resort itself is ok. Nothing spectacular, but for the price it cannot be beat. The pool is a bit small, and the hottub isn't really hot. The beach is beautiful and fun however.
Digging up hatching sea turtles and releasing them at sundown is something you will remember the rest of your life. That was something I haven't seen mentioned here or anywhere. We released 114 of them on Sept 27th, 2015.

GP is topless optional. My wife was the only one who took advantage our week there. No one really cared or said anything except for one douchecanoe making comments. Worst part is he recognized my chest tattoos from here earlier in the day and said hi. The staff (waitresses)encouraged my wife taking her top off. Asking her why it was still on at noon.
The staff would love a TTR type party. The try to up the tempo but the ho-hum regulars kill it. With 10-20 TTR types there the party would explode.

We were at GP in March after spending three nights at TTR and the GP was nothing like it use to be. Somewhere on here I reviewed it, so to make a long story short, new ownership, terrible vibe, running out of beer and booze each night of our stay, nothing exciting happening at night. Three straight nights of Karaoke. Oh, and not one topless lady the short time we were there.

I suppose if more TTR people decide to go there the vibe, at least, could change. We had stayed there several times and it just isn't the same.

    Caddyshack pool party!

All I keep thinking of is the doors of Oasis or GP opening and a flood of TTR Refugees come pouring in like all the caddy kids on Caddyshack taking over the Bushwood Country Club pool splashing the uptight snob regulars at either resort.

It's got potential, except that it's a shirt and we want everyone topless. Do we really want to encourage someone (especially the lovely ladies) to put on a shirt so others can find us?

If they know the demand for their property is going to increase they can raise prices. Why would they offer a discount? Not trying to start an argument like a lot of people here do but as a business owner that doesn't make sense. When demand goes up so does the price. It's a good thought though.

They have to get us there first and then to get a premier member to switch would be a HUGE accomplishment. The Goal for these hotels would not be to get people once or twice but to actually steal the customer for life. Discounts over the next year during construction would hopefully result in people coming for a lifetime. They would probable still raise rates a little then offer the discount. LOL, bringing it back down to where it was before.
