We are looking to go to one of these locations in April and we are looking to see if anyone has been and could give us some feedback. We are TTR regulars and are looking for something to feel the void. Any help would be great.
Just got back from GP last week and we had an amazing time!!! There were probably about 30 other TTR regulars. Joe and Lucinda were there and he got them to play music in the sixtys bar at night so we could dance. The pool was topless optional! Food was better than TTR and the staff was incredible!!! We are going back in February!!!
We're making reservations to GP now. I've been to Couples before and enjoyed it, but it's a smaller resort. We spent nearly every day on Tower Island, which is where the fun (and nekkid) people are, and most nights at the piano bar, which is the only place for late night socializing. We had a lot of fun, but other than the couple dozen of us that were the Tower Island crew, most folks at the resort were more there to relax all day and retire early rather than party.
We are headed to Couples Tower Island over Thanksgiving week and will let you know. We have been to TTR and Desire several times, but never GP.
We had our honeymoon at CTI (June 2013). It is beautiful, but nothing like TTR. It was way more laid back, the pool with the bar was just chill, people floating around - zero entertainment at the pool. Besides the piano bar, nothing in the way of nightly entertainment. We were in bed by 8-9 each night. We won't be back. Not because of anything bad, just kinda boring in our opinion. But I guess if you had a big group it has potential...
