Well I'm heading out in two weeks with my girlfriend (going to pop the question before we leave though). Does anyone have the email address for the GP? I would love to upgrade as plans have changed and something a little nicer would be great. Also does anyone know what occupancies has been like recently? Will we have the place to ourselves or have some friends to party with?

    thanks everyone.

Hey dbsb? what are the dates u are going to be there?
Occupancy has been very low, like 20 to 30% but the last count I had they said things were picking up fast. I hope so. I like to meet lots of new people.

Sorry i guess I dropped the ball on that post. We will be there the 15-22nd. We are a 25 year old and a 21 year old couple.

I agree that the people you meet on vacation often makes or breaks the whole deal. We are looking for a night or two craziness and can always be coerced into more fun but the idea so far is to relax but have the option to party.
anything else i should know about the place that hasn't been stated several times in the thread?
She's happy it's topless and some of the jacuzzi claims in this thread are interesting but I don't know what you've seen first hand.

Anyways take care and hopefully I'll be able to catch you out there and get the lay of the land from you.

Well by the time we get there u will have scoped out the place. The Tiki bar is the place to hang out on the property. Jose , Carlos and Fonzie are the best. Take long pants, collard shirt and one pare of shoes (not sandles) if u like to eat well. Shangri la is the best 7 or 8 course meals. Great food. We always take long pants for that only. Wear them while we eat and then go change into shorts or bathing suit after but the food is worth the change. If u find something u like on the menu and want more just ask. My friend Roger loves the Creme Brulee and he orders two or three a night. lol
Have fun. See u on the 19th.
PS. Post a pic if u want so I will know who u are.

The main thing u have to know about the Golden Parnassus is that it is a mix of young and old people but we are all there to have a good time. I have met some fun young and old people there. Some we still keep in touch with. Just let urself go and enjoy.

If anyone has been there recently I was wondering if they still had various exercise classes in the morning? I saw somewhere they had things like spinning and yoga in the morning. But I'm not sure if that still exists.

    Thanks.
