How was your trip Bret?

 

Had a blast. We are debating between Vegas or Cancun for Memorial Day weekend. (Also my bday weekend)

 

We were in Vegas in January. It was pretty dead. They are having tough times out there, but you can get great deals on rooms.

We look to be going back to Cancun in October or December. Have a week in each month. December was pretty cold for us though.

Got Crested Butte coming up in 2 weeks! Can't wait to hit the slopes.

Yeah 65 bucks at Mandalay Bay or 99 for a suite at MGM. Can't beat that... I am guessing memorial day will be busier out there but who knows. I sure would love to go back to Cancun tho.

 

I asked them a few questions.... here's their response:

Thank you very much for all your good comments about our resort, we appreciate your preference staying with us every year and we are sure you are keep coming many many years more, we hope to exceed your expectations, ok let me answer some of your questions:

We have wireless but the service is with a charge of 29 us dlls per 24 hrs. or 10 us dlls per 1 hr. (that is the price now, maybe can change) and we also have a business center you can use there your own computer,.

As we are an adult resort and as you know you can do topless but just in the pool and beach area

We have free transportation to the sister hotel GREAT PARNASSUS every hour on the hour; the service is from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. and you just have to be at the lobby area 5 minutes before the hour and ask at the front desk for the pass to going there,( it’s a paper that you have to fill with your room number, the date, your name and the signature)

The price of the upgrade is, if you are in a deluxe room lagoon are, the price for the deluxe room ocean view is 30 dlls per night and if you want a club room ocean view (suit) the price is 50 us dlls per night with no amenities and 75 us dlls per night with all the amenities( fridge, bathrobes, fruit, 1 bottle of sparkling wine, fresh flowers upon arrival, slippers, 1 gourmet dinner in the room and the lunch cruise)

hehe i know right! They do have cyber cafe's... i think about three of them downtown. It's anywhere from 2 bucks to 7 bucks an hour... or you can buy a whole day for..... i forget how much~! lol but if you want I can find out for you

 

I'm pretty sure the Starbucks in Cancun is free.
