Golden Parnassus (Adults only) ***** AI

This was our 6th time at the Golden, so pm me if you have any questions, etc.....

The place was full of 20 somethings this week too. Lots of big, muscled up guys. The 20 somethings thought there were a lot of "old" people there too, lol. I guess they were talking about us 40 somethings!

I am going to Golden June 19 thru the 27th. this will be my third time there. I love this place.

 

Golden Parnassus

I am staying here for my 4th time with my husband and some friend march 11th-15th. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else for this much fun and relaxation! My husband and I are 23 and 25 and our friends are 22 and 24. Warning: This hotel IS adults only 18+ and TOPLESS! So dont be shy if you see boobies by the pool. lol. I love playing tequila volleyball every year! When we first started staying there it was called the Golden Crown paradise but they got sold to Golden Parnassus.

People write bad reviews for this hotel or tripadvisor.com because they are stuck up, snotty people who expect butlers and would rather spend their whole vacation trying to find something wrong with the place, so they go looking for trouble. I have NEVER even for a SECOND been dissatisfied with this hotel. We were supposed to stay at oasis/grand oasis but they overbooked the rooms and we heard water was dripping from the ceiling from the younger kids overflowing toilets. And that if you wanted to be in bed by 3am forget it because they party and will keep u up until 6am. They offered to send us to Golden crown paradise (at the time thats what the name was) and we were totally not for it, even though it was an extreme upgrade. Well needless to say, about 2 hours after being there..... we were in LOVE with the place! I have pictures from it under spring break forum, then topic "picture countdown". The 5 restaurants never get old.... i could eat at the buffet every meal. There is free 24 hour room service. and tips go a long way. I'd suggest like 3 bucks a day to the maid, a dollar or so a drink to alfonzo or whoever your bartender is.... and a few bucks to whoever serves u dinner. They are so appreciative and don't expect it... but if you tip you get tip top service! They will have drinks waiting for you when they see you coming!

I agree with HammieJ. The bad reviews are from people who are spoiled and want to be pampered.
This will be my third trip to Golden and have loved it every time. The people are great. The food is very good, esp at the Shangrila. We eat almost every late meal there. The bartenders are loads of fun, esp Jose and Carlos and Alfonso. I can not wait to get there and relax and have fun.
